Set It And Forget About It
We wish you could click a button, and your phone number will automatically forward to us. Unfortunately, it’s a little more complicated than that. We provide some of the more common phone carriers instructions below; however, please know that these instructions can change at any time. We have no control over your phone company’s procedures. You may need to contact your phone provider to get more current instructions if the below information doesn’t work. If you find other instructions, please let us know so we can post them for everyone to see.

For 8X8 you need to log into your account manager and go to the phone system. Once in the phone system, you need to click view all extensions. Find the extension whose forwarding rules you wish to set, then click Edit to the left. Scroll down to the Call Forwarding section and click the + sign to expand. Review the Forward Type (conditions in which a call is forwarded) and forwarding destination columns. You can decide to always forward under any circumstance, or you can configure rules for Busy, No Answer, and Internet Outage individually. When your rules are set, click Save Changes at the bottom left of the page.
To forward all of your calls from your AT&T mobile device
Dial *21* followed by the number you want to forward your calls to, press #, and then press send or call.
For example to forward to 555-123-4567, enter the following:
*21* 5551234567 #
To deactivate call forwarding:
To forward all calls through Comcast, dial *72 you’ll hear a dial tone. Dial the ten-digit destination number. Stay on the line until the number is picked up by voicemail. If no one is available to hang up and dial *72 in two minutes. Dial *90 to activate call forwarding busy. Wait until you hear the second dial tone and then enter your ten-digit forwarding number. Call forwarding no answer and on the second dial tone type in the ten-digit number. For call forwarding not reachable dial *58 and select the appropriate responses to the prompts.
For Frontier, when you hear a dial tone, dial *72. You should hear a second dial tone, dial the number you want your calls forwarded to. Call Forwarding is activated when someone answers the number you dialed. For call forward busy, dial *90. Listen for a special dial tone, dial the number that you want your calls forwarded to, followed by the # sign and hang up. For call forward no answer, dial *92, and listen for a special dial tone, then enter the number of rings to allow before forwarding.
For Google Voice, access settings in the top right of the screen. Select linked numbers and add the number. Select Send code. Repeat the code Google provides on the forwarded phone to verify the connection. Make sure the box next to ‘Forward calls to’ is checked.
For Grasshopper, you’ll see a button to “Add a forwarding number.” Just type in the number you want calls forwarded to. You can add up to six forwarding numbers per extension. Now you can decide when to forward and not to forward to it.
To do call forwarding with Jive, dial *72. Listen for the dial tone and enter your forwarding destination. This can be an internal extension or an external number. When finished, just hang up.

Dial *72. Call Forwarding Always Activation.
Dial *90: Call Forwarding Busy Activation.
Dial *92: Call Forwarding No Answer Activation.
Dial *610: Assign the number of rings before the Call Forwarding No Answer treatment is applied to incoming calls.
From the main dashboard on Nextiva, hover-over Advanced Routing and select Auto Attendants. Hover your cursor over the name of the Auto Attendant that needs Call Forwarding Always configured, and click the pencil icon to the right. Scroll down, and select the Forwarding section toward the bottom of the screen. Select the pencil icon next to the Call Forward Always option. Enter the phone number to forward incoming calls to in the Phone Number field. Click the green Save button on the right side of the screen. A pop-up message will confirm if the forwarding settings have been updated. After clicking Save in the previous step, the phone number should display. Make sure the ON/OFF button is set to ON. If it is set to OFF, click the button to change the setting to ON.
To set up call forwarding with Phone Power, first, locate call forwarding on your account tab. Once you are on the Call Forwarding screen, you will notice you will be on the Forwarding Rules tab. Select the radio button: Forward All Calls To. This will bring you back to the Call Forwarding screen. Now you should see Forward All Calls To selected. If you want to set up conditional call forwarding just click on the selective call forwarding tab.
To set up call forwarding on phone.com, hover your mouse over Configure and select Manage Users & Extensions. Select Edit for the unlimited extension you forwarded to in the steps above. Select Call Handling Rules on the left-side navigation bar under Settings. Create a Forward Call action as your first forwarding step. In the Forward Call settings, enter your cell phone or landline number in the white box. Select Save Rule Settings.
To activate call forwarding on Sprint dial *72. Then enter the 10-digit forwarding number. After the confirmation tone is heard, hang up the phone. If you want the call to forward if there is no answer you need to dial *730 and if you want the call to forward if you are busy you need to dial *740.
To forward all calls on T-Mobile, you need to go to the settings on your phone. Once in settings you need to go to call settings and select call forwarding, then click all voice calls and click activate. After this, you will be prompted to enter the phone number. If you don’t want to forward all calls, you need to follow the same steps but select forward all conditional calls instead of all voice calls.
On Verizon, if you are forwarding all calls, you need to dial *72 plus the phone number that you want the calls forwarded to. If you don’t want the calls to automatically forward, you need to dial *71 and the number you want to forward calls to. By doing this, your phone will ring several times and if it is not answered it will get forwarded to the number that you choose. Both of these features can also be accessed on the My Verizon app.
